New Church Ministry has been involved in the planting of 640 new Disciple’s congregations of which 100 are Haitian churches and are going strong. This ministry will continue to expand its reach - planting churches and extending the witness to new mission fields. Join the efforts of New Church Ministry in Expanding the Table in the United States, Canada and right here in our region by supporting the Pentecost Special Offering. This offering, divided evenly between our region and New Church Ministry, helps to fund recruitment, coaching and training of new church ministers. By Expanding the Table, you and New Church Ministry are reaching out to serve multitudes and to share God's message in new ways.

CHURCH “PARKING LOT” SALE
SATURDAY, MAY 22
We know it is there… we are faced with it every time we open a closet or walk through our basements… STUFF! We all have too much stuff. What a great time to clean house and donate your gently used items for a church sale! Clean out your cupboards and closets and bring your hidden treasures to church. On
Saturday the 22nd (and several days before) we will need volunteers to help price, sort, set up, sell and take down. ALL funds from this effort will go toward our facility needs campaign. If you have something of value, let us know; if we have enough items, there is talk of adding an auction. Special arrangements can be made if you need someone to pick up your donations. This is a great way for us to pull together and help our church raise the money we need to fix the roof and do other repairs. Missy Willoughby has agreed to coordinate this project. Start collecting your stuff!

Come and join Disciple’s Women on Thursday, May 13th at 7 p.m. This is a perfect time to join in the sisterhood of Disciple’s Women as we continue to explore, discuss and celebrate life as a woman of faith. We are embarking on a new course of discussion about what we would like to do next. It would be a wonderful plus to have new input and new outlooks as we continue to grow in our belief system, in the fellowship of others and the continued learning experiences we all share.

ST. ELIZABETH VOLUNTEER SERVICES
St. Elizabeth Healthcare needs volunteers in both Florence and Ft. Thomas. In Florence they are looking for volunteers to greet and direct visitor traffic, information desk volunteers and gift shop volunteers. In Fort Thomas volunteers are needed for the information desk, surgical waiting and gift shop. All of these positions are need mostly for nights and weekends.
If you have a couple of hours to spare and are looking for something that will definitely help others, this is a job for you.
