It’s that time of year again, folks! Our garden will need constant care, whether it’s watering or weeding or both...and our lawn has to be mowed.
Please help out with these very important ministries by signing up on the bulletin board outside of Trish’s office.
CONSECRATION SUNDAY WORSHIP AND CELEBRATION LUNCH JUNE 1
Sunday, June 1 is going to be a wonderful day for BCC! During the morning worship service, Greg Alexander, the regional minister of KY, will be here to lead our worship. In this service we will have the opportunity to reflect on the great blessings of God and our need to respond to those blessings. We will be prayerfully considering our gifts to the church for the coming fiscal year. Following the worship service, we will gather for a special celebration lunch! Please be in prayer for the events day and for this congregation.

SUNDAY EVEING EXPERIENCE:
BIBLE KINDERGARTEN FOR ADULTS GRADUATES 4!
They did it! We have 3 adults: Erin & Steve Bowling and Bev Kottmyer who have completed the entire Bible study. They are graduating with a basic knowledge of the 66 books of the Old and the New Testaments. Bob Kottmyer graduates from the Old Testament study. This has been a fun 8 months. There was learning, sure, but there was also laughter, friendships, and stickers. Lots of stickers! Be sure to congratulate our grads on their accomplishment!
DISCIPLES WOMEN
TUESDAY, JUNE 17 @ 7:00 P.M.
All women of the church are invited to join the
fellowship and study of Disciples Women! We meet in the church library. This group is inspiring and nurturing. This month, Mary Lou Garnett will be leading our study.
MOVIE NIGHT FRIDAY, JUNE 20TH
Come join the fun as we watch the movie “Phenomenon.” These movie nights are always fun as we eat, visit, watch the movie and then discuss what we saw. The Kottmyers are gracious hosts. There are directions to their home on the bulletin board outside of the offices.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AUGUST 3—7

POWER LAB!
VBS is a great week for all involved! Kids get to have a great time while learning the faith stories and adults get to share in the fun while leading and helping! This year our theme is Power Lab a science based experience that will teach the important lesson that:
Jesus gives us the POWER to
~Be Thankful ~Help Others
~Be Brave ~Live Forever
~Tell Others about God
For VBS to be all that it should be, we will need lots of helpers! Erin Bowling is the director of VBS this year. We will need leaders for classes, crafts, games, science, and snacks. We will need class helpers, actors, greeters, registrars, and more! Check out the poster and sign up Sunday. Get the date on your calendar and start to invite family, friends and neighbors! It promises to be a great week!
BCC BOOK CLUB
The book club has been in existence for only a few months yet we have covered 3 books now and are ready for more. All we need is you. We meet once every few weeks depending on how much reading we can get done. The meetings are after worship services and only last 10-15 minutes. We talk about the book we are reading, how it applies to our lives as Christians, lives in general and any other books we are interested in or want to read next. If you like to read and discuss, please join our book club! Info on the book club is
always posted on the bulletin board with meeting dates listed. For any questions please call Mindy Jones’ cell phone at (859) 663-5200.

Bullittsville congratulates these extraordinary young women for their accomplishments.
THE CLEAN TEAM
Interested in volunteering to clean the church? There is a job for everyone! We need people each week to meet cleaning needs. Some jobs need to be done weekly and are fairly simple, such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the restrooms. Other more involved jobs may be done monthly, such as mopping the kitchen and hallway floors and washing windows. There is a detailed sign up sheet with job descriptions and supply locations on the bulletin board by the offices. This task would be best completed if 2 or 3 people work together to clean . Cleaning should be done as close to the end of the week as possible. Sign up to help!
SEND YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
In an effort to help keep us all better informed, we are trying to use email more often. To be sure that we have your correct email, please send a note to office@bullittsvillechristian.org or fill out a form at church. This will cut down on postage and allow us to stay better connected.
